Primary Education is the first stage of compulsory education. It is the foundation on which the development of every citizen and the nation as a whole bulit on. Recent past India has made a huge progress in terms of increasing primary education. India's improved education system is ofetn cited as one of the contributors to the economic development of India.In the same time, the quality of elementary education in India has also been a major concern.
Free and Compulsory education to all childern upto 14 years is the constitutional commitment in India. It's a fundamental right of all childern of age 6 to14 years.Government has launched Sarve Shiksha Abhiyan in 2001 and it is the largest programmes in the world.
